Lana Del Rey is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame with her breakthrough single "Video Games" in 2011. The Paradise Edition also features collaborations with producers such as Rick Rubin, Rick Nowels and Dan Heath.


The Paradise Edition received positive reviews from critics, who praised Lana Del Rey's vocals, lyrics and artistic growth. The reissue also performed well on the charts, reaching the top ten in several countries. The lead single from Paradise, "Ride", was released in September 2012 and became a moderate hit. The song is a ballad that reflects Lana Del Rey's wanderlust and desire for freedom. The music video for "Ride" was directed by Anthony Mandler and features Lana Del Rey as a biker girl who joins a gang of outlaws.
